“A few weeks ago I reached out to my FB friends to ask for any leads on digitizing old videos (lots of them). Nextdoor led me to a post by Mark Swirsky, a photographer located in Needham and the Berkshires. He happened to be a FB friend who I must have ran into in the Real Estate world at one time or another. After speaking to Mark I found out that he was a classmate of my brother in law who lives in Pittsfield and that he photographed my nieces wedding. Long story short I hired Mark. I met him at his sisters house in Needham
and left him with a huge box of tapes to transfer. The best part was that he told me not to watch them before handing them off as often times the tapes will get ruined. I had no idea what was on many of these tapes.

My treasured memories have been preserved! I am so pleased with Mark’s work. He sifted through four-plus hours of a VHS tape to find the one gem I was looking for—a recording of a party 30 years ago. Since one of our friends has passed, I wanted to share it with the others in the video. Mark converted it to a crisp DVD and there was no loss to the video quality. The turnaround was fast and he is very friendly. I too, have investigated the ads for the large firms on the web that take a box full of media, but I just had this one tape and didn’t want to pay all the startup fees. I have had Mark Swirsky restore three photographs of mine, and the results of his efforts were beyond amazing. One of the photos was 63 years old, and creased pretty dramatically. The second, 25 years old, was washout out to the point where I could not make out details at all. The third was both creased and faded, and it was 60 years old. I expected improvement, but in each case they were beyond improved. Mark made the photos look as if they had just been taken! I'm not exaggerating when I say that the creases are gone -- undetectable -- and the colors are vibrant. I highly recommend Mark to anyone who needs any photo restoration at all! Michelle A.

Mark arrived at our vacation home on time. He was extremely personable, particularly patient, and worked well with our three grandchildren ages almost two to six. He was very efficient and took numerous photographs of various family groupings both outside and inside the home. He followed up with proofs, and a disc, from which were able to make our choices.
